As a traveling musician, it's a blessing to spend time meeting new people and discovering new communities. This past weekend I fell in love with the music and community at the NERFA (Northeastern Regional Folk Alliance). I am still vibrating from the new connections and friendships.
One of the highlights for me was spending time with David Amram. Not familiar with his work? Well, run over to wikipedia and check him out. It was an honour and an inspiration to hang out with him.
